![]() To avoid hurting anyone's feelings ![]() Tab Reader's Guide To Standard Notation
Of course, pedal steel is one of the most difficult instruments upon which to "sight read", since we have so many different ways to play the same pitch, even without involving pedals or levers. However, gaining the ability to recognize the notes you are playing can be of great help in developing your sense of melody, chord voicings, etc. I hope anyone who gets something from this book will pass it on and share it with others who might be interested in developing "note recognition" on their instruments. And no, tab is not all bad ------------------ [This message was edited by John McGann on 29 October 2006 at 09:33 AM.] |
