I am fascinated by the Alkire tuning and have been trying to learn it and everything I can about Eddie Alkire and the Eharp. I have received much help from Roy Thomson, Mae Lang, and Bob Schaefer but I have read on the forum that Claude Brownell was one of the greatest Eharp players and had cassette tapes and a CD available. Does anyone have any of these tapes or the CD and would like to sell them? Thank you.

Right under the "Add a reply" button, click on the "search" option. Then type in "Griffith" and do a name search. When Graham Griffith's name appears, click on "Eharp players". Although Graham lives "down under",
he is very knowledgable on the Eddy Alkire tuning and method. He is also a forumite and very nice person. He might be able to help somewhat, via the internet.

Hi Duane. I thought you might be interested to know that there is a bunch of sheet music on Ebay right now titled 53 Eddie Alkire Hawaiian Song Sheets for Steel Guitar. I'll try and post a link in here for you....but I'm still new at this so it might not work for me. I'll email you the link, I might have better luck with that.

Thanks Wayne and Joy for the help. I will try to contact Graham and I have placed a bid on ebay for the sheet music. I still want to get ahold of Claude Brownell's tapes or CD, if anyone could help me with that it would be greatly appreciated. Duane.
